A tough five set loss for the Grand Rapid Rise against the Vegas Thrill. Having been up two sets to none the Vegas thrill was able to overcome the adversity and pull off the reverse sweep. Claire Chaussee led the team in digs and kills with eleven and twenty-four marking her highest number of kills in her professional career of two years. There are a few updates to the teams injury list, Nia Grant, has been added to the short term injured reserve and has no date on when she will be back. The rest of the team has been healthy and they have not had to face any depth issues when regarding injuries. Their next game will be at 7pm on Wednesday March 20th against the Columbus Fury. This will be the third time they will meet in regular season play. The last time that they played the Columbus Fury was March 9th and they won with a score of three to one. The record on the season is four and five and they have been struggling on the road with a record of one and three. The Columbus Fury have been battling injuries all season so it will be interesting on who will end up on the court in this upcoming game.  Although there are not many updates on the teams trading, other teams in the conference have been making strategic moves with players while struggling with injuries. Updated just now CBS Sports will now telecast the Real Pro Volleyball Federations games, the first game being April 6th when Orlando will play Grand Rapids. This is important for the future of the confederation and the growth that will be happening in the next few years when more teams join as popularity rises.
